What information is being collected and how?
We collect the following information in the application form when you join CLEO: your name, email and telephone number; institutional details; your teaching/practice/research interests. We do not hold any financial information. Your information is being held in our database and is manually inputted and updated.
Who is collecting it?
Information is collected and processed by the CLEO administrator currently in post at Northumbria University, who receives the application forms. Their contact details are available on our website at https://www.cleo-uk.org/contact-us/
Why is it being collected and how will it be used?
Your name and contact details are collected to enable us to include you in our membership database and to send you CLEO Updates and other communication about the work that CLEO is doing. Information about your interests are collected to give us an understanding of our members and their potential interests in relation to Clinical Legal Education. This is to help organise events and provide information and resources of interest to our members.
Who will it be shared with?
The CLEO Administrator shares details of members’ names and email addresses with the CLEO Trustees to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation. We do not share your details with anyone else. You can find out who the Trustees are on our website at https://www.cleo-uk.org/about-us/
How long will it be kept?
We will delete your information once you tell us you no longer want to be a CLEO member and we will delete your information from our mailing list if you tell us you no longer want to receive updates.
